Not everything needs a client to justify it. This is the residue of process— the tests that didn’t ship, the ideas that outgrew their brief, the artefacts that exist because a question needed an answer nobody asked for. Liminal by definition: not finished work, not failed work, just work between states, still deciding what it is.
